Tag: The Church

The Church (Ekklesia) is the “called-out assembly” of God, a unique spiritual organism born on the Day of Pentecost and distinct from the nation of Israel. It is the Body of Christ, of which He is the Head (Colossians 1:18), comprised of both Jews and Gentiles united by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This “mystery” was not revealed to the Old Testament prophets but was entrusted specifically to the Apostle Paul to explain (Ephesians 3:1-6).

Dispensational theology maintains a sharp distinction between Israel and the Church. The Church is not “spiritual Israel,” nor has it replaced the Jewish people in God’s plan. Rather, it is a heavenly people with a heavenly calling, destined to be the Bride of Christ. This library explores the doctrine of the Universal Church versus the Local Church, the specific instructions for church order and discipline, and the prophetic destiny of the Church as outlined in the letters to the Seven Churches of Revelation.

Let every word and pixel honor the Lord. 1 Corinthians 10:31: "whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
